Over a three-day period from June 24th-26th, the Coro Youth Fellows took to the streets in the San Francisco Mission District and Oakland Chinatown neighborhood in an effort to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that affect their local communities.

Throughout their 9-month experience, the Fellows completed 75 intensive month-long field placements, interviewed over 150 leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and spent over 30 hours traveling around California. . .

In addition to the usual Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs spring graduation, this past May and June also produced 32 new Coro graduates from our Partner organizations – UCSF and the City of Fremont.
