Elinore Buchen, FPPA ’05 SF, and husband Evan Miller, welcomed their second son, Samuel Buchen Miller, on March 20, 2010.

Tom Capriola, FPPA ’04 SF, began his post as Deputy County Counsel in Napa, CA, where he and fiancé Mina Kim, FPPA ’04 SF, recently moved into a new home. Mina, a longtime adjunct trainer for Coro’s partnership programs, is now a fulltime General Assignment Reporter for KQED Public Radio.

Libby Freeman, EL ’06 EB, is currently a summer intern in Senator Dianne Feinstein’s San Francisco office.

Ben Gettleman, FPPA ’03 SF, was promoted to Senior Associate at Kearns & West in San Francisco, a communications firm focused on the marine resource, water and land management, and energy sectors.

Martha Hernandez, FPPA ’04 SF, recently began as a Senior Recruitment Manager for Mi Pueblo Food Center.

Lindsey Hilde, FPPA ’07 SF, was awarded a summer research fellowship from the Los Angeles Sustainability Collaborative. She is also interning at Caltrain this summer as a Rail Operations Planning intern.

Burnell Holland, III, FPPA ’06, SF, is currently a MPA Candidate at The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in New York.

Lynn Wu, CLP ’04, is a Staff Attorney and Juvenile Justice Policy Advocate for the Prison Law Office in Berkeley.

In Memoriam

John K. Robinson, FPPA ’52 SF, a Coro staff member in San Francisco from 1952-1964, died on June 22nd at the age of 83. In January of this year, Coro was honored to have had his presence at a 1947 FPPA reunion – a memorable assemblage of Coro’s first class of graduates along with current Fellows. John was a uniquely special individual, and his mark on Coro will not be forgotten. A memorial celebration will be held for John on July 23rd at 4:00 p.m. at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley.
