Jocelyn Corbett, FPPA SF ’09, is the Momentum 2009 Conference Assistant at Tides in San Francisco.

Gary Fazzino, FPPA SF ’76, has joined Applied Materials as Vice President of Government Affairs, and is responsible for their global government relations programs. Previously, Fazzino was with Hewlett-Packard, where he had a career spanning three decades.

Hunter Gordon, FPPA SF ’09, is the Outreach Coordinator at the Minnesota Humanities Center in Minneapolis. He was also married this past June to his fiancι, Kristin Murch.

Lindsey Hilde, FPPA SF '07, started her first year at the UCLA Department of Urban Planning to earn a Masters in Urban Planning. Her concentrations within the department will be transportation planning and urban design.

Pat Kilduff, FPPA SF ’75, is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. Most recently Pat was Director of Government and Community Affairs for the California Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Akhila Kosaraju, FPPA SF ’03, received the Medal for Exceptional Public Service from the Office of the Secretary of Defense this past spring. She was one of four health-care professionals to be honored with this award. Akhila, who received her medical degree from Columbia following her year in Coro, was appointed to the Pentagon in 2007, where she remains on staff as a Special Adviser.

Eddie Kurtz, FPPA SF ’09, joined Circle Point as a Project Associate working on emergency management and infrastructure projects.

Justina Louie, EL SF ‘01, recently joined PG&E as a Business Analyst to the Supply Chain Strategy group. She was most recently with Levi Strauss & Co.

Nicholas Martinez, FPPA SF ’09, is a Legal Assistant at the corporate litigation firm of Milberg LLP in New York City.

Elly Matsumura, FPPA SF ’02, and partner Janelle Ishida welcomed daughter Kiyoshi Malka Ishida Matsumura on September 3, 2009, their first child.

Alyson Megur, FPPA SF ’09, is Press Assistant at the Office of Congresswoman Jackie Speier. She was very recently married to her fiancι, Nick Stamos.   

Josie Mooney, FPPA SF ’75, after a 23-year tenure with SEIU, has accepted a new position as Executive Director of the California School Employees Association, a 230,000 member-strong union representing Classified School Employees in California. 

Mothusi Pahl, CLP ’04, and wife Denise welcomed their first child, son Tenzin Hans Diaz Pahl, on June 29, 2009.

Tyler Perry, FPPA SF '00, successfully defended his PhD in late 2008. After lecturing at the University of Washington in early 2009, he has moved back to California where he is a Senior Policy Analyst at the California Research Bureau in Sacramento.

Raema Quam, FPPA SF ’08, is the Director of Outreach for Repair the World in New York City.

Meredyth Skemp, FPPA SF ’09, is a Project Administrator at BRIDGE Housing Corporation in San Francisco.
