C. Beau Daane, 26, lives in Ohio City. Most recently Daane was working as the founder of a green real estate investment company, Green Cardinal, LLC and as sales and marketing consultant for Balanced Living Magazine, a resource for wellness, environmentalism and personal growth. A 2002 graduate of Duke University, Daane studied abroad in Bamako, Mali and spent a year teaching English in Guadeloupe, French West Indies. In 2004, Daane earned his master’s in history from Cleveland State University. |

Jeffrey Epstein, 31, lives in Cleveland Heights. After earning his juris doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004, Epstein worked as a law clerk for Judge Solomon Oliver, Jr. on the U.S. District Court in Cleveland. Epstein earned an undergraduate degree in public policy from Duke University, and worked in political polling and market research in Washington, D.C. |

Maria Haller, 26, a resident of Lakewood, most recently worked as a law clerk for Egon P. Singerman. Additionally, she was a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Economic Development in the College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. In May, she earned both her juris doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her master’s in public administration from Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs. Haller is a 2002 graduate of John Carroll University. |

Stephanie Howse, 27, lives in Cleveland. Prior to joining the Fellowship, Howse worked as an environmental health and safety engineer for Stephen J. Sebesta & Associates Inc. Howse is Co-Founder of Footprints, a nonprofit youth development organization. She was a Cleveland City Council candidate in 2005. Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Florida A&M University before going on to study Environmental Studies at Cleveland State University. |

Erik Johnson, 32, is a resident of Old Brooklyn. As a former Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Youth Development Coordinator, Erik provided counseling and mentorship to adjudicated youth and their families. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in English from Cleveland State University and is working on his masters in public administration. |

Sonya Pryor-Jones, 34, a native Clevelander that currently resides in South Euclid. With a master’s in education from Cleveland State University, Pryor-Jones has had a career in education, with some experience in the nonprofit sector. Most currently she was the assistant director of admission for multicultural recruitment at Baldwin-Wallace College. Pryor-Jones earned her undergraduate degree in international studies, with a focus in history, from Kenyon College. |

Jonathan Simmons, 43, a resident of Copley, is co-managing consultant for PAULDRON, L.L.C. His Akron based firm works with companies in the financial industry and other sectors, providing training and organizational solutions for diversity, sexual harassment and other cultural workplace challenges. Jonathan recently earned an MBA in international management from Baldwin Wallace College. Prior to beginning his own company, Simmons received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Southern University. |
