Crowdsourcing Update - A Case Study

A new software application called Ushahidi exemplifies the possibilities of widely dispersed participation and input. Started in Kenya, its name is Swahili for “testimony.” In crisis situations, it gathers more information faster than traditional sources of news.    more »
