Coro Southern California designs training programs to meet the needs of diverse professional, governmental, civic, neighborhood, school and non-profit groups.
For instance, in 2007 the Community Redevelopment Agency hired Coro to conduct a community visioning process in Leimert Park Village that engaged over 240 residents, shop owners, artists and stakeholders. More >>
Other recent clients include Ralph Bunche Charter School, the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, the Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment and El Rancho Unified School District. Coro has also consulted on regional leadership intiatives:
Leadership Southern California - The purpose of the Southern California Leadership Network ( SCLN ) is to create opportunities to develop leaders who will enhance the quality of life in Southern California region. Coro has trained over 200 regional leaders through Leadership Southern California since it was founded.
Ventura County Leadership Academy - A program of the United Way of Ventura County, Coro designed and delivered the VCLA training program for the first 12 years.
Custom programs and consulting can include group facilitation, community exploration, experiential learning, face-to-face interaction with public, private, media, and non-profit decision-makers, and development in analytical, group governance and communication skills.
