Coro Leadership Connection - August 25 Event a Success!
The first Coro Leadership Connection event of 2010-2011 was held on August 25.
Julie Stackhouse, senior vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' Banking Supervision and Regulation department, engaged the audience in a detailed discussion about what happened to the economy in 2008; how the various efforts of the Fed and the government kept the country from plunging into a more serious situation; what areas needed to be addressed to avoid similar problems in the future; and how the new Regulatory Reform act will go about addressing those problems.
Julie presented to a diverse group of bankers, nonprofit leaders, and members of a variety of organizations from the community. In a very short period, she capably covered the topic at a variety of levels, and distilled the essence so that all who participated left with an increased understanding of what happened and what it means for the future of the region and the country.

Eat Wings and Raise Funds for Coro - St. Louis - September 22
Class 54 of Women In Leadership is sponsoring a fundraiser for Coro. Buffalo Wild Wings will donate to Coro 10% of all pre-taxed food sales (less alcohol and promotional discounts) from any guest that presents a fundraising ticket.
