Women In Leadership Alumni Association 

Coro Leadership Center - St. Louis' Women in Leadership Alumni Association (WILAA) is an educational and service organization dedicated to creating change within the St. Louis metropolitan region. Membership is comprised of graduates of the Coro Leadership Center’s Women in Leadership Program.

WILAA offers advanced leadership opportunities, provides community service efforts targeted at enhancing the skills of individuals, sponsors informational seminars that enhance knowledge and application of leadership skills and supports the Coro Women in Leadership Program.

The exhibit begins at 10:00 a.m. with a meeting in the Cafe following the exhibit for coffee and a facilitated discussion.  There is no cost to attend, but an RSVP is required.  Please RSVP by March 19!  Click here to RSVP.

About the Exhibit:  Race is a powerful concept that shapes how one sees others and is seen byothers, yet the public poorly understands what race is, and inherent assumptions and misconceptions about race effect scientific and scholarly research.  To clarify what race is and what race isn't, the American Anthropological Association (AAA), with its sections members and other science and humanities organizaitons, including the Science Museum of Minnesota, developed an interactive museum exhibition, RACE:  Are We So Different?, that allows visitors to learn the history of race, the role of science in that history and the subtle and obtrusive expressions of race and racism in institutions and daily lives.

WILAA's Speed Networking a Resounding Success!

WILAA hosted an evening of "Speed Networking" at SqWires Restaurant on November 11. Attendees enjoyed great food and drinks while spending a few minutes getting to know a diverse array of women. Thanks to all who attended and the organizers for this fun event!
