What Is Going On With the Fellows Program

Coro Fellows Engage the SFUSD
During the second week of September, the new class of Coro Fellows spent four days examining the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). They met with elected officials, school administrators, labor representatives, teachers, principals, students, and parents. They visited school sites and attended a school board meeting. After synthesizing all they learned, they made a public report on Change and Innovation in the SFUSD. See what an SFUSD parent had to say about their presentation. Read more »

They are working on a wide variety of projects at diverse institutions from local, regional, state, and national agencies. From environmental policy and legislation to technological innovation, the Fellows are working closely with their Field Faculty to make a positive impact on the functioning and effectiveness of government, finding new and innovative ways for government to plan for the future and connect with citizens.
