How to Apply to Exploring Leadership?

Before you begin your application, please make sure that you are eligible:
You MUST ...
• 1). Be a high school sophomore at one of our 12 partner schools:
East Bay School Partners
San Francisco School Partners
Berkeley High School
El Cerrito High School
Skyline High School
Oakland High School
Oakland Technical High School
San Leandro High School
Burton High School
International Studies Academy
Galileo Academy of Science and Tech.
Mission High School
The Academy of Arts and Sciences
• 2). Be able to commit to completing the entire full time summer program
- Full-Time Summer Program (June 20 - August 12)
- Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• 3). Have a valid social security number upon program acceptance
The application process has 3 steps:
Step 1 - Complete the personal information and activities/skills section of the application by clicking here: http://sfcoro.kintera.org/ELapplication
Step 2 - Download the 3 short Essay Questions by clicking here, and email your essays to bpolansky@coro.org by Wednesday, March 16th, 2011.
Step 3 - Email this link http://sfcoro.kintera.org/reference to your reference provider (i.e. teacher, counselor, coach, or other non-family member) to complete the Reference Form. You can also download the Reference Form by clicking here to give to your reference provider in person.
Please note that your application is NOT complete until you have completed all 3 steps listed above.
