How to Apply to Exploring Leadership?
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Monday, March 3rd, 2008
Before you begin your application, please make sure that you are eligible:
You MUST ...
• 1). be a high school sophomore
• 2). be able to commit to completing the entire 10-month program
- an 8-week/full-time summer component (June 23-August 15)
- part-time fall and spring components (September-April)
• 3). have a valid social security number upon program acceptance
The application process has 3 steps:
Step 1 - Complete the personal information and activities/skills section of the application by clicking here: http://sfcoro.kintera.org/ELapplication
Step 2 - Download the Essay Questions by clicking here, and email your essays to achan@coro.org by Monday, March 3rd, 2008.
Step 3 - Email this link http://sfcoro.kintera.org/reference to your reference provider (i.e. teacher, counselor, coach, or other non-family member) to complete the Reference Form. You can also download the Reference Form by clicking here to give to your reference provider in person.
Please note that your application is NOT complete until you have completed all 3 steps listed above.

Coro Selection Day Invitation Notification: Friday, March 21st
Deadline to Accept Invitation to Attend Coro Selection Day: Friday, March 28th
Coro Selection Days: Saturday, April 5th OR Saturday, April 12th
Program Acceptance Notification: Monday, April 21st
Deadline to Accept Program Invitation: Friday, May 2nd
