The 13th Annual Leadership Luncheon

Information and Tickets | Sponsors | Guest Speakers | Honorees | Green and Healthy

Join football Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, president of All Stars Helping Kids, and Carmen Policy, former president of the San Francisco 49ers, and over 600 local leaders on April 18, at the 13th Annual Coro Leadership Luncheon honoring Louise Renne for her years of outstanding service to the City of San Francisco.

Lott and Policy will hold an onstage conversation discussing “Leadership On and Off the Field”, moderated by Master of Ceremonies Scott Shafer of KQED. And with the help of our co-sponsors, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Kaiser Permanente, the entire event will be Green and carbon neutral, featuring an all organic, healthy lunch. Guests will have opportunities to calculate their carbon footprints and learn about conservation programs to reduce them. As a special bonus, Pacific Gas & Electric will bring its all-electric Prius to the Luncheon for guests to examine.

Leadership Luncheon Honorary Chair Jeff Bleich, a 1984 Coro graduate who currently serves as President of the California State Bar and Vice-Chair of the California State University Board of Trustees, will join us in honoring  Betty Schafer, a Coro volunteer with many years of distinction with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The Coro Medal for Outstanding Community Leadership will be given to Kaiser Permanente for its dedication to the health of our communities.

This inspiring event brings together business, labor, government and community leaders from around the Bay Area to honor the awardees and celebrate great leadership;  all proceeds directly benefit Coro’s leadership programs, - the Fellows Program in Public Affairs for recent college graduates and the Exploring Leadership Program for rising high school juniors.

We invite you to become a sponsor of the Leadership Luncheon. Sponsors receive recognition and an invitation to the VIP reception with Ms. Renne and the speakers, other awardees and local leaders. A list of sponsorship and benefits available can be found here.
