Michael (Kipp) Baratoff, FPPA SF ’00, is with Equilibrium Capital, a Portland, Oregon based investment firm committed to funding and growing leading companies in the area of sustainability.

Benjamin Blatteis, EL SF ’03, is currently with Cushman & Wakefield's Beijing office where he is focused on bringing international businesses to China. He is a recent grad of Occidental College, where he majored in Chinese and Economics.

Leo Chyi, CLP ’02, is a transit planner for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.

Davian Contreras, EL SF ’00, graduated from UC Davis last December and spent the next six months traveling throughout the states. He joined the Menlo Park firm of Pacific Biosciences Inc. in August.

Lindsey Hilde, FPPA SF ’07, is the client relations coordinator in the marketing department of Meyers Nave law firm in Oakland.

Jesse Mainardi, CLP ’05, is an associate with The Sutton Law Firm in San Francisco.

Adriana Martinez, FPPA SF ’94, founded a consulting business in Los Angeles (Adriana Martinez Group) focusing on government relations & community relations for economic development projects. Prior, she worked for LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. She and her husband, Alhambra councilman Luis Ayala, have two children, Citlali (3) and Diego (1).

Alexis McKenzie, FPPA SF ’06, is with BNY Mellon in their Asset Servicing Group as an operations tech in New York State.

Craig McNamara, although not an alum, is well known to many San Francisco FPPA grads for his annual hospitality during Agriculture Week. Craig is the subject of an engaging article in the October 15 San Francisco Chronicle. Check it out HERE  

Diana Medina, FPPA SF ’08, is the project coordinator for Valley Nonprofit Resources, an organization that offers capacity building services to nonprofits in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles.

Benny Meshoulam, FPPA SF ’01, is in his first year at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, after spending the last six years in Massachusetts state government. 

Matt Neely, FPPA SF ’02, is the new head of school at Epiphany School in Seattle, WA, an independent elementary school for students pre-kindergarten through 5th Grade. He and his wife Erica and 17-month old son Owen recently returned from a two-year stint in Rome, Italy.

Tuan Ngo, FPPA SF ’08, is the new marketing and membership coordinator for Tides Network in San Francisco.

Clever Padilla, EL SF ’07, was one of six youth to receive the Koshland Young Leader Awards from the San Francisco Foundation on September 23, 2008.

Mothusi Pahl, CLP ’04, is on long-term assignment in Johannesburg, South Africa working on business development for Cummins power company.

Adrienne Pon, CF ’88, is the Director of MOCD (Mayor’s Office of Community Development) in San Francisco. Most recently Adrienne headed the Zeum Museum.

Corbett Powell, EL ’01, graduated from Fisk University last year and recently took a position as a program manager for Emery Education Foundation in Emeryville, CA.

Amy Rakley, CLP ’06, is currently working on her Executive Masters of Public Administration Degree at Golden Gate University, while serving as the City of Fremont's Park Planning Manager.  In addition, she and her sister Sherrill have started their own business, www.sheet-dreams.com, which sells Egyptian cotton sheets, duvet covers, etc. at discounted prices.

Bianka Ramirez Ahuja, FPPA SF ’98, and her new husband welcomed their first child in July, son Naveen Emilio Ahuja. Most recently Bianka was a brand manager for the Clorox Company in Oakland, before moving to Southern California. 

Josselyn Recinos, EL SF ’07, and De’Anthony Jones, a current EL Youth Fellow, were both sworn onto the San Francisco Youth Commission in August, 2008. They follow in the footsteps of Martha Carvajal, EL SF ’06, who just completed a one-year term.

Karla Romero, CLP ’05, recently joined Metropolitan Arts & Technology High School in San Francisco as a college advisor.

Clayton Schloss, CLP ’04, received his MBA from U.C. Berkeley in May and moved to LA to work in management consulting for L.E.K. Consulting. He resides in Santa Monica.

Neheet Trivedi, FPPA SF ’04, is currently living in Salvador, Brazil working at E+Co (www.eandco.net), an American non-profit investment company that makes investments in and provides consulting services to small to medium-sized clean energy companies in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Neheet joined as carbon finance officer for Latin America and works with clients in Central America and Brazil.

Dan Viederman, FPPA SF ’89, is executive director at Verité, a nonprofit based in Amherst, MA that seeks to use the leverage of global companies to improve lives for poor workers around the world.

Carolyn Wang-Kong, FPPA SF ’99, welcomed her first child with husband Dave Kong on October 7, 2007, son Matteo Kong. Carolyn is in the Diversity division as a Practice Leader at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland.

Anthony Weeks, FPPA SF ’98, began the MFA program in Documentary Film and Video at Stanford in September. He was one of eight in this year's entering class. Two years ago he studied documentary media at The New School in NYC. His short documentary film,"Bend & Bow", recently screened at Dokufest, an international documentary film festival in Kosovo.

David Wu, FPPA SF ’05, is a specialist and peer counselor at Asian Community Mental Health Services in San Francisco.

Feng Wu, EL ’01, is with Watson Wyatt in San Francisco.

Dianne Yamashiro-Omi, WP ’84, is the 2008 Awardee for Outstanding Foundation Professional from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She was honored at their National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon on November 19 in San Francisco.
