CORO

EL Campus Managers

After conducting a very extensive search, we are absolutely thrilled to share with you that we will be bringing on board ten talented part-time Campus Managers in January to help implement the new Spring Component program model. We received an overwhelming 120 applications for this position.  Each Campus Manager will be responsible for managing one of our 12 partner high schools.  He or she will work closely with the three 11th grade Coro Youth Fellows to facilitate weekly 2.5 hour after-school leadership workshops to a group of fifteen 9th and 10th graders at their schools.  In particular, the Campus Manager will coach and mentor the 11th graders to teach back their leadership training to their peers and lead them in the design and implementation of a Community Action Project to narrow the achievement gap.  These new all-star hires have the skills, expertise, and passion to engage and empower our program participants so they gain the necessary leadership skills and competencies to develop as dynamic and effective leaders and make a difference in their high school communities.  We are so excited to build the necessary staffing infrastructure and capacity to support our program expansion to reach an additional 180 students!
