The Coro training room was the recipient of a much needed makeover this summer thanks to the unprecedented gift of funds, time, talent and toiling by the Coro Fellows class of 2011. The groups’ philanthropic efforts began during the program year, when they raised funds for a table at the Leadership Luncheon. When their prowess in fundraising yielded an excess in revenue, they proposed a makeover project for the training room.

Coro staff members are still pinching themselves … was this a dream? Not only did the newest cadre of Coro alumni spend several weekend days and nights cleaning, taping, painting, carpet cleaning, and jettisoning broken furniture, they also splurged for premium whiteboard paint that is now adorning two of the expansive walls. Fellows in the 2012 class are now reaping the benefit, as will the entirety of the Coro community for a long time to come.
