Dear Coro Alumni a
nd Friends,
Happy New Year from the Coro National Alumni Association! The new decade holds a lot of promise for our community, and we are excited to support Coro as it begins to transform itself into a premier 21st century leadership training organization. As the newly elected President of the CNAA Board of Directors, I feel inspired by the opportunity to support Coro at this exciting time, and to connect with all of you as we work together to help Coro become a stronger, more robust, and wide-reaching leadership training organization in the months and years to come.
I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some exciting new happenings in the Coro system. Last November, the Coro system adopted new Coro Governance Principles that will guide Coro’s growth and organizational transformation in the coming years. Click Here to continue.
CNAA and Coro National have begun a joint initiative to make Coro training materials available to alumni. Visit the new Coro Alumni Toolbox pages for refreshers on the skills you worked on during your Coro program. You will find that many of the techniques also have direct relevance to your current work and volunteer challenges, from running more productive meetings to unleashing the creative potential of the "unknown."
Click here to access this new Coro Alumni Toolbox, and check back regularly as materials are added.
Coro National believes it is important to share what Coro learns across the system to enhance what we do, share best practices and improve our capacity to empower communities.
