Coro National Alumni Association and the Coro National Board of Governors present:

HARNESSING CREATIVITY

a Coro Alumni Education Webinar

Coro alumni have told us that they want to continue learning together after they complete their Coro programs. In response, CNAA and Coro National are excited to offer our first online learning opportunity:

We need new ideas every day to stay ahead of the rapid-fire changes in the world around us. How do we keep finding innovative ideas? What are the best ways to promote creativity that leads to usable results? How can we maximize the creative potential of the teams and organizations we work with?

Learn about research and best practices for promoting creativity, and share ideas with your colleagues about how to apply them to your work or volunteer activities. Based on the 2007 book Group Genius: The Creative Power of Collaboration by Keith Sawyer, the webinar will cover current thinking on how creativity emerges and research on the critical role of collaboration in innovation. The goal of the webinar is to give participants practical strategies for expanding their own creative thinking and capturing creative energy from the people you are engaged with. It will be led by Steve Redfield, Coro National’s Managing Director of Training and Related Services.

The agenda will cover:
1.     Where we need creativity and the challenges to getting it
2.     Myths and realities about the creative process
3.     Characteristics of innovative teams
4.     Techniques to improve individual and group creativity
