Walk from Downtown- Walk across the Smithfield St. Bridge and turn left at the light. Go four blocks and turn left onto Terminal Way. (located between 3rd and 5th on Carson St.) A wonderful 10 minute walk!
Port Authority buses are a convenient, reliable way of transportation. The buses that travel to Terminal Way are 51A and 51C. You may board these buses at the various stops located on Wood St, Smthfield St and 6th Avenue. The cost for the trip is $2. You will depart at the stop located on East Carson Street opposite Terminal Way.
The “T” Subway is a convenient ride on the light rail subway system and in available every 10 minutes, 3 minutes during rush hour, which is 4PM to 6:30PM. The cost for this ride are $1.25 during regular hours and $1.50 during rush hour. Your boarding stations are located at Wood St, Steel Plaza, Gateway and First Avenue. You will depart at Station Square, cros the street, turn right, walk four blocks, and turn left onto Terminal Way.
From the South I-79 North: Take 1-79 North to I-279 North. Take Exit 7B West End, Route 51 North, stay in right lane and follow signs to Station Square. At light, bear right onto West Carson St. Go straight through 3 lights- at fourth light Smithfield St. Bridge), go straight, stay in left lane- Follow East Carson Street to the Terminal Building.
From South Hills: Go through Liberty Tunnels. At end of tunnel make a right – At light, make left onto Arlington Ave. At light, make a right on East Carson St. Follow East Carson St to the Terminal Building.
From the West: Parkway West – Take Route 60 East to Exit 7B, West, Route 51 North- Stay in right lane and follow signs to Station square – At light, bear right onto West Carson St. Go straight through 3 lights – At 4th light (Smithfield St Bridge), go straight, stay in left lane – Follow Carson St to Terminal Building.
From The East – 376 West – Take Route 376 West to Exit 7B, Glenwood – At end of ramp, turn right – At light turn right onto 2nd Ave. – At third light, turn left onto 10th St. Bridge – Follow East Carson St to The Terminal Building.
From The North – Route 28 South to Liberty Bridge/579 South Exit – On Veteran’s Bridge, take Downtown/6th & 7th Ave Exit. Stay in left lane of Mellon Arena/6th Avenuw Exit – Stay in left lane of 6th Ave Exit. At light, make a left onto 6th Ave. At light make a right onto 5th Ave – Stay in left lane and bear left at the “Y” in the road. Next light, make aright through Armstrong Tunnels and at the end of the tunnel go straight accros 10th St Bridge. At third light, turn right onto East Carson St. Follow East Carson St to The Terminal Building on your right.
The Coro Center for Civic Leadership is located in building 33 on the left hand side.
Enter the lobby and take the elevator to the 4th floor.
Turn right out of the elevator and Coro will be the first door on your left!
Note: The Coro offices are located in the River Walk Corporate Center (former Terminal Buidlings) between 3rd & 5th Streets off of East Carson Street on the Southside of Pittsburgh. Free visitors' paring is available on East Carson Street near the billboards. Street parking may also be available. Parking on Terminal Way is not permitted during the peak hours of 7AM to 4PM.
