CORO

NEXT Leaders for Green Communities

The Coro Center for Civic Leadership, in partnership with GTECH Strategies, has initatied the Next Leaders for Green Communities program. The first goal of Next is to support a leadership-succession plan that both trains emerging leaders and provides mentorship by connecting those Next leaders to established leaders in the Hill and Uptown.

Mentoring Partners

Prospective Participants

Because leadership from within the community is imperative, Coro Pittsburgh is seeking mentoring partners to participate in the program.  Mentors may include individuals from:

  • Religious or educational institutions
  • Businesses
  • Community-development organizations
  • Social service agencies

This part-time leadership-development program had two aims:

  • Providing training and mentorship for the next generation of leaders in the Hill District and Uptown.
  • Assisting Next and established leaders in exploring how the green economy can support community development in the Hill and Uptown.

Are you a stakeholder in the Hill District or Uptown?

Do you ever wonder who will lead the next generation?

Could you turn a green revolution into community revitalization?

Do you live in the Hill District or Uptown?

Are you an emerging leader in your neighborhood?

Could you turn a green revolution into community revitalization?
