Exploring Leadership (EL) is Coro New York’s year-long civic leadership program for NYC public high school students, training them to serve as leaders who represent themselves and other young people in decisions that affect their communities.

The Exploring Leadership program is generously supported by The Altman Foundation, The Thomas and Jeanne Elmezzi Foundation, The Pinkerton Foundation, The Helena Rubinstein Foundation, The W. Clement & Jessie V. Stone Foundation, The Louise and Arde Bulova Fund, and other contributors.
Youth Ambassadors will gain increased:
In partnership with four small NYC public high schools -- Bushwick School for Social Justice, High School for Public Service, School for Democracy and Leadership, and Urban Academy -- EL selects a total of 26 students (6-7 students per school) to participate in the year-long program as “Youth Ambassadors.” Exploring Leadership alumni stay involved through participation in advanced civic leadership opportunities.
