A dedicated group of alumni has redesigned CAAB so it will better represent and access the entire Coro New York alumni community and now we need your help!
Supporting, connecting, and engaging the alumni community is now a central part of Coro's work and CAAB is key to this strategy. CAAB is now made up of class representatives from each class of Coro programs. We are looking for a few dedicated alumni from every Coro class to join CAAB to volunteer in this endeavor.
Class representatives will help us develop a stronger and more vibrant Coro alumni community by:
- Actively promoting Coro events and activities to classmates with the goal of encouraging their engagement and involvement, and encouraging informal class connections
- Soliciting ideas and feedback about alumni events and activities to inform programming and communication strategies for the alumni community
- Serving as the primary point of contact between Coro staff and alumni classes
Class representatives commit to one one-year term with the option of renewing at the end of it. There will be very few meetings- rather we want you to focus your energy on your Coro class and helping us build a more connected alumni community in New York. To create this new CAAB, we ask for your flexibility, your thoughts, your ideas – and your time.
If you are interested in joining CAAB and serving the Coro community, please let us know at caab@coronewyork.org. And as always, if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, and thoughts – please don't hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to speaking with you and working with and for all of you as we move forward.
