Exploring Leadership
Exploring Leadership (EL) cultivates NYC public high school students as civic leaders effecting educational change within their schools and communities.
Deadline to apply to the 2009-10 Exploring Leadership program: April 2009
To apply to Exploring Leadership, you must submit the following:
- Application form
- Essays (4)
- Letter of recommendation (1)
Exploring Leadership is only open to students at Bushwick School for Social Justice, High School for Public Service, School for Democracy and Leadership, and Urban Academy. If you attend one of these four schools and are interested in Exploring Leadership, please contact your school’s teacher:
Bushwick School for Social Justice: Matthew Sullivan, Math
High School for Public Service: Kate Cook, Spanish and Community Service
School for Democracy and Leadership: Kate Bredrup, English
Urban Academy: TBD
