Lewis Rudin Awards Dinner for Civic Leadership
Congratulations to the 2008 recipients of the Lewis Rudin Medal for Civic Leadership!
On May 21, 2008, Coro New York presented the award to these four outstanding New Yorkers, who have focused on tackling the City's and the Nation's most pressing challenges:

Lewis Rudin was one of New York's great leaders. His passion for civic life, his extraordinary talents and generosity, and his deep commitment to helping build a brighter future for this city have been an inspiration to New Yorkers of all ages.
Since 2002, the Coro New York Leadership Center has bestowed the Lewis Rudin Medal for Civic Leadership on individuals who share Coro's commitment to promoting civic participation and who have made outstanding contributions to civic life in the five boroughs. The awards are presented at an annual gala in New York. Proceeds support Coro's civic- eadership training programs.
Past honorees include: Majora Carter, Robert Catell, Rev. Dr. Floyd H. Flake, Walt Frazier, Gael Greene, Richard C. Holbrooke, Eugene Lang, Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Pete Peterson, Gabe Pressman, Elizabeth Barlow Rogers, Joe Rose, Sy Sternberg, Robert W. Walsh, John Whitehead, and Deborah Wright.
