ESSAYS AND TRANSCRIPT:
1) Autobiographical Essay: Coro provides twelve interns with an opportunity to learn experientially. Since a significant emphasis is placed on interactions between Coro interns, we are interested in learning what special attributes, viewpoints or experiences you would bring to the Coro program and the reasons you would be a positive addition to the Coro internship class. Please also summarize the ways you expect to put Coro training to use. (Please attach this essay to the end of this application. Your response should be typed, double-spaced and should not exceed one page.)

2) Situation Analysis Essay: Please analyze a difficult problem or situation in which you were a principal participant involving a group. Set forth the basic facts, the problem to be solved, and what you did to work out a solution. You may draw on your own experience in college organizations, political or civic groups, military service, employment, etc. for your topic. This is NOT a research paper. The purpose of this essay is to demonstrate your reasoning ability, problems solving skills, leadership style, and to reflect your relationships, attitudes and ability to work with other individuals and groups. (Please attach this essay to the end of this application. Your response should be typed, double-spaced and should not exceed one page.)
